Called in at my local Aldi, Mapperley, Nottingham, today and they have a number of Camping/Caravanning items in stock.
Toilet fluids are there for £4.99. They have the pink flushing fluid and blue and green toilet cassette fluids.
I'm not sure about the green one, which is compulsory on sites with septic tanks. It doesn't state anywhere that it's an eco fluid with no formaldehide and suitable for septic tanks, so I'm not sure whether Aldi are being a bit naughty and practising a bit of deception - won't be the first time.
There was a plug in or battery operated cool box for about 50 quid, which looked quite good.
Also various tent stuff, useful lengths of cord etc.

Aldi deception? Yes some items have similar packaging to high end products but I usually find they’re cheaper & just as good as the branded version. Which? Consumer magazine often recommends Aldi.
Anyway, the green toilet fluid will list its ingredients so you can look for any formaldehyde. Other UKCS folks use it, we do too. I’m wary of any “eco” claim in case it’s “greenwashing”.
And we have our eye on the camping soft bags - they look ideal for direct “home to Motorhome cupboard”.

Must admit never heard any member saying they used the Aldi green stuff, plenty always comment on the blue and pink though.

Me too, however, I am resisting as I don't really need it!

I've just checked the label and it's very vague. It says that it contains a couple of things I've never heard of and I've now forgotten. I'll only use it on sites that allow the blue stuff. I've lived in a property that had a septic tank - in fact I installed it myself. We were very fussy about cleaning solvents and never used bleach or anything toxic. I only had it emptied once and the guy told me that there was no sludge whatsoever, so I didn't get it emptied again. You can't upset the ecosystem in a septic tank or you kill the bacteria and the nasty stuff builds up.
Having said all that, I've just stayed on a CL where the owner specified the green fluid only and there was loads of blue residue in the emptying point, so it's apparent that people disregard the rules and then bleat about any bad smells coming from the septic tank.

We've had a couple of excellent Outwell Windsor Hills chairs (with zip-on foot/leg rest) for a decade now. Very happy with them, but they're now starting to wear thin, and may not last another full season after this one. They don't make them any more, and there are very few alternatives with the aforementioned leg rest.

Thanks to this thread, I took a Google at Aldi Camping gear, and they are doing (On-Line only) what appear to be the identical design (bar the colourway) so have just ordered 2 in grey, at a very reasonable price, so we have spares, ready for when the Outwells finally give way! Outwell were £50 apiece back in 2012, but got 2 for 1 at one of those travelling camping things Yeomans used to do.

Outwell version...

Also available in blue. Both colours available as single chair or set of two (but work out same price!)

Such a relief... It was looking like we'd have to pack up camping, once these old chairs give way!

Not all fluids acceptable for disposal in Septic Tanks are coloured green! - Elsan Super Kem is suitable for disposal in Septic Tanks and is very much the 'traditional' blue colour! Blue Diamond Toilet Fluid is also blue and suitable for Septic Tanks! I'm sure there will be others too.

The term 'Green' is used too loosely and misinterpreted, it's not always simply the colour green.

Buy in store at Aldi Thu 15 June 2023: a tent, a tarp, pegs, sleeping bags, floor mats, chairs, storage box, cookware, table, tent lights & even a camping toilet and an EHU with 4 sockets (but no USB). The organiser is pretty neat - like a mini dome tent with shelves. I could see it being useful in a child’s bedroom at home.

Toilet fluid is on sale again as well. Bought some last time but I hate the smell of it. Thought it was just me but when I mentioned it to someone on site they disliked it as well.

I found that you need more of aldi blue than you do with Elson blue, so elson blue is my first choice, the same with the pink flush, plus you don't get black bits with Elson pink either.

For green fluids I use CaraSept from Carapak
