Hi Everyone,
Here's a vet for anyone driving up from the Algarve within the pets passport window, or anything else.
Vet Gilao
Pct Eduardo Felix Franco, 3
Tavira
Tel: 281094023
If you know Tavira, top of main street, turn left, set back on right.
€20 consultation, €3 for the wormer, €4 each for two annual boosters. We also wanted an analysis on a lump on our Whippets side, he charged €12 and emailed the results. (that alone would have been £60-80 at home)
A brilliant young chap, (Andrea)speaks English (college in UK).
Came out to his surgery at midnight to repair our Whippet after she was savaged by two off lead Bulldogs on camp, stiches and aftercare, under €100
Will try to think of some others we have used.
Many thanks to Keith for creating the Google map. I have just found it and very grateful for the effort it takes to keep it up to date.
Mike
