Frejus is close to my heart, my dear father and mother cycled from Leeds - Dover - Paris - Bordeaux - Frejus. My father bought a 'frame' in Frejus and had it shipped to the UK. Went to Frejus in 2001, along with Monaco. Yes it was beautiful in Monaco looking out to sea, and the old palace and casino square are worth seeing but it looks pretty ugly from the sea. We camped in Menton..but we are not in a hurry to return, purely because it was too busy for us, not to mention the intense heat. I think we'll concentrate on the Luberon, and if the whim takes us we'll make the effort to venture down there...not a Sunday though as this wil be crazy busy as are most resorts. there is a market on a Tuesday so this is a possibility.
