We loved the Huttopia site in Beaulieu sur D a couple of years ago. It's the only time my now 10 & 12 year old have EVER engaged in any form of kids club. Looking at doing 4 or 5 days at Dieulefit (or Huttopia Plage Blanche). Kids were asking for slides etc but will forfeit for a site like the one in Beaulieu. Just wondered if anyone knew much about the Dieulefit area/site. We're in a motorhome so looking for ease of shops etc access & walking/cycling from campsite...
Plage Blanche is well reviewed but just not sure if there's enough to do for 4 or 5 days, that said, if the kids like the site and make friends then they're happy wherever...

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

It is much hillier around Dieulefit than Beaulieu and not sited on the river. There is a reasonable supermarket there. In the surrounding area, there is Poet Laval with its crusader fort, but I don't think there is too much in the area to keep a 10 & 12 year old entertained.

2019 ditto (hopefully)

Thanks. That's sort of what I was thinking.
