unfortunately we decided to cancel our tour this year, lost a few deposits on campsites but hey ho, its the most organised weve been as well with every campsite booked including stopovers, we normally just wing it, weve managed to get a cancellation at pentewan sands for a week as of tommorrow so some consolation, all the covid restrictions were just too annoying and unfair in my opinion to deal with, heres looking to next year
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
We've cancelled our booked long-stay campsite on our favourite pitch on a lovely site. Had it booked from as soon as they opened reservations last year.
Now it looks as if requirements for return from France might change for the better, but the site owner has already re-let our pitch 😭.
We cancelled so as not to let the campsite owner down at the last moment due to ever-changing travel categories and requirements. Wish we'd just kept the booking and played it by ear, now.
I looked at Pentewan yesterday but it was fully booked (as are most decent sites in the UK). I also looked at the weather forecast, and realised why we much prefer France as a camping holiday destination...😉
