That's because of the Lunar Chateau - which was a model taken from the continental market - but I don't know where they are made.  Chateau was the company who made them somewhere in Europe before they became the Lunar Chateau.

They are made in Preston as I used to work for the company that supplied the wood for them.

Lunar Caravans are made in Lostock Hall, Preston. They used to be part of a dutch company who also owned chateau but were bought out by the management at Lunar. Lunar still sell the chateau range but I don't know what there involvment is with this company (I don't know if they own them to or if they just sell there range of vans through the Lunar brand).

I know someone who works there and I also own a Lunar. I believe they are doing alright at the moment despite the economic problems and have not had to cut back on production as severley as some other manufacturers, although inevitably they have made some redundancies.

I hope they survive as I like my Ariva and would like to think that I could buy a new one some time in the future.
