I leave my gas on at night, the heater won't work without it being turned on.
We don't turn our gas off at home at night, so why in caravan?

Turn it on during setting up on site and then off as we pack up. It remains off then until next trip.

The fittings are designed to safely have a gas supply 24/7.i only turn off when we leave the site.we have spent as much as 27 nights with it turned on without a problem.odd times we we have the gas fire on at night.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

Always leave mine on whilst on site but off and disconnected whilst travelling. I also have a can of leak detection spray( a spraybottle of soapy water will do) to check the joint after connecting.

Dont use fairy liquid or the like on gas fittings.
