Yes, and what used to be "quality control" department is now left to the customer. It's happening everywhere.
Regarding caravans, some of the things I have read on here from owners of new caravans would have caused me to complain about the £1,100 caravan I bought from a local dealer as a trade sale, and am still using 4 years on. Having such a problem with a new caravan would have made me absolutely furious.
I agree. I cannot think of anything else someone would pay out £25-£35+k for brand new, and end up with so many issues as many do. If you bought a new car, and the brakes were faulty, the electric windows didnt work, and no third gear, you would just take it back and get a refund, or at least a replacement vehicle.
