Vacancy Details: Cleaner Warden - April to end September 2022 - 6 months In Countryside Paradise

Vacancy: Cleaner Warden - April to end September 2022 - 6 months In Countryside Paradise
Employer's Name: Rushbanks Farm Caravan And Camping SiteLocation: Suffolk

Hi There,

We are looking for a friendly cleaner / warden / to live on the best campsite in the East of England. Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed on the campsite.

Hours vary between 2-5 hours a day job with free accommodation over the 5-6 months set in a beautiful location in the Dedham Vale. Some days you may not have to work but best to be available in case we need help.

Take a look at our website to get a feel for the location: rushbankscampsite.co.uk

The job would involve up to 2 hours cleaning and 1 hour per day walking around the campsite getting campers to put their campfires out at 11pm and encouraging them to go to bed. It's best to start walking around by 10.30pm to make sure all campers have their water buckets filled up and are therefore ready to put their fire out at 11pm.

You may need to stay on patrol till 11.30pm or so to get noise quiet on site as we have a strict No Noise After 11pm policy. Most weeknights will be easier but weekends are much busier.

You will need the Ability to be polite, firm and fair when telling people to keep the noise down and put their fires out.

There will also be an evening toilet clean to be done around 8pm before the walk about. This will involve re-stocking the toilets and a quick clean. This usually takes around 45 minutes - 1 hour.

You may also be needed to help with cleaning and putting away canoe rental equipment. This includes children's buoyancy aids, paddles and spraying down canoes with disinfectant. Also, we have lots of random things happen that we may need help with every now and then.

You will also be multi-skilled trained including checking in customers that involves heavy lifting of fire pits and logs for our customers. You will need good fitness and a strong back for this job.

If you have tap changing / plumbing skills and good machinery driving technique that would be great.

Dates needed: April to end-September 2022.

It is preferred if you have your own caravan or campervan to sleep in. Otherwise you can bring a tent or I may buy another caravan. We can provide you gas if you have your own van. We may be able to offer other accommodation if just weekend work Friday, Saturday and Sunday is decided upon.

There is no electric on site but we have warm showers. We have solar panels to get electric for our caravans.

It is strongly preferred that you are a polite, kind and non-alcohol drinker / relatively low alcohol drinker. If there is an emergency on site we want you sober. (There are very rarely emergencies on site but it could happen).

We are looking for seasonal staff to help over the next few years so even if you are not available this year then let us know about next year.

If you are interested in joining our fun team please email Gareth Bates: rushbanksfarm@gmail.com with your details.

We are looking for a nice, outgoing person that's happy to help with whatever comes up. Check out our website to see how awesome the site is: rushbankscampsite.co.uk

Hopefully, hear from you soon.

Gareth
