We are an AA 5 Pennant Platinum Award, family run, countryside park between Newquay and St Ives. Close to north coast beaches of Portreath and Porthtowan. We are open all year for tourers/motorhomes, luxury static caravans also available to hire. Our friendly team work hard to keep the park to a high quality standard, of which we are very proud. We have a bar/restaurant also open all year. We offer holidays primarily to couples and families.
Job Vacancy: Park Wardens part time (seasonal)
We are looking for a friendly, conscientious couple to join our team, assisting with the day to day running of the park. This is a great job opportunity on our beautiful park for a hard working couple who enjoy working with people.
Our philosophy is to offer a top quality, friendly service to our guests, with a high standard of cleanliness in all areas. Excellent customer service skills are essential, along with a positive, friendly attitude and lots of drive and common sense!
The park is open all year round and we live onsite ourselves. We have a range of pitches - from fully serviced hard standing to grass with electric hook up, and a small hire fleet of luxury static caravans. There are also privately owned holiday homes and lodges.
General duties may include:
Cleaning shower/toilet blocks, static caravans and bar/kitchen area.
Working in the bar/restaurant (including kitchen)
Reception Duties - dealing with telephone and email enquiries, using online booking system, speaking to guests face to face, taking guests to pitch/static caravan.
General site maintenance - grass cutting, strimming and weeding, changing gas bottles etc.
Manoeuvering touring caravans from storage area onto a pitch.
Refuse collection, managing recycling area
This is a seasonal position which may lead to a permanent post for the right couple. No dependents or pets.
Salary: £12 per hour, hours variable
In addition a hard standing pitch is available for your own motorhome/caravan if required. Wi-Fi provided. Discounted food and drink in our bar/restaurant.
