We are a successful family owned camping and caravan park located within walking distance to Lyme Regis and the Jurassic Coast in the beautiful village of Uplyme. Lyme Regis is very busy in the Summer with Jazz festivals, carnivals, fossil festivals etc. The park has 135 touring and tent pitches and 17 static caravans on site some of which are privately owned. We also have 3 Glamping tents (new 2021) We have two modern toilet blocks (one being completely refitted for this season) and a small shop/reception area. We are a quiet park with low noise after 10.30pm and no groups.
Job Vacancy: Seasonal Maintenance Warden (new role for 2022) We welcome applicants who are new to wardening.
Vacancy for an enthusiastic and friendly person to join our existing team for the 2022 season. Starting March-October 2022. A good level of fitness is needed as well as the ability to be flexible with working hours. Ability to work on your own to deal especially with maintenance issues and also to be able to work with other members of the team is essential. Customer service is extremely important to us to ensure that every guest has an enjoyable stay at our park.
There could additional part time cleaning work for a partner.
The Role includes
Park maintenance including mowing, strimming, weeding, basic carpentry, and plumbing.
Weekly maintenance and cleaning of park machinery and vehicle.
Daily/weekly safety checks.
Greeting and pitching guests,
Bin collections,
Changing of gas bottles,
Greeting late check in when on call with evening walk around and toilet facilities check,
Occasional helping in the shop and with check-ins.
The role is 5 days a week with two consecutive days off, the on call will be shared with other wardens. The role changes through out the season with longer working days in the school holidays and shorter days in the shoulder months depending on weather and occupancy.
