Durdle Door Holiday Park is a peaceful, family friendly Holiday Park on the edge of the Jurassic Coast. While we are within walking distance of the world-famous landmark, we pride ourselves on our uncommercialised Park. We have three areas for touring and camping; Abbeyfield hardstanding pitches, Sea View campervan pitches to the rear of the beach car park, and The Rookery for tent camping among the trees. Within these areas there are also Camping Pods and glamping Skylight Cabins.
We have an opening for a warden couple to live and work on site, initially for the 2022 season. We are looking for a capable and trustworthy couple with previous experience of working on a Holiday Park. You will be a professional couple with great customer service, who take pride in what they do and enjoy being onsite in a busy holiday park environment. This role is required to work the summer season from 1st March - 31st October. Competitive pay and a pitch for your own motorhome or caravan with electric and water included, as well as free laundry and WiFi.
The successful couple will demonstrate an enthusiastic, proactive, and problem-solving approach to the job. You will need the ability to meet customer expectations professionally and efficiently, be self-motivated and you must be able to use your own initiative for day to day issues.
The position has a variety of duties, which include but are not limited to the following:
• Working closely with Customer Care, Security, Grounds, Housekeeping and Maintenance teams.
• Welcoming customers, providing excellent communication and excellent customer service. Greeting and pitching guests, moving allocated pitches where necessary.
• Taking and processing on spec bookings (full training will be given)
• Dealing with customer queries
• Ensuring pitches are maintained and customers are pitched correctly
• Mowing, strimming and hedge cutting on the Park
• Cleaning the shower and toilet block.
The role is for 40 hours per week each over 5 days. Flexibility is required for working hours and duties, as a team approach is essential.

The two of you must be flexible with a sense of humour and have a can-do attitude when no two days are the same. You will be natural problem solvers and be able to prioritize easily in what can be a fast paced environment during peak seasons. Full training will be provided on the booking system. This is a physical and challenging role working outside in all weather conditions where you will need to be prepared to undertake the many roles in the efficient running of the Park.
