We are looking for a Campsite Assistant. Day to day, you will support the delivery of an enjoyable outdoor holidays experience for our visitors.

Hours: 37.5 per week. This role is for 1315 hours per year, with most hours worked between March and end of October. This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £9.59 per hour, £12,600 per year.

We are also seeking a Campsite Team Leader. A free pitch could be available to the right candidate/s.

Internally you will be known as ‘Outdoors Holidays Operation Assistant

What it's like to work here

Waterclose Meadows Campsite is set in the grounds of Houghton Mill which is the last working watermill that exists on the River Ouse. With a charming riverside location, the property includes the Mill, a tearoom and the campsite. We are looking for a Outdoor Holidays Operations Assistant to join our small friendly team . Day to day, you will support the delivery of an enjoyable outdoor holidays experience for our visitors.

What you'll be doing

In addition to practical tasks such as cleaning and maintenance, your role will also involve face-to-face interactions such as welcome and orientation, guest service, processing online bookings and working with our volunteers.

A positive can-do attitude is a must in the varying world of Campsite and no two days will be the same. The campsite is a 7 day a week, seasonal operation and may require varied work patterns to reflect site and guests requirements.
