We are a family run, 5 Pennant Platinum Award park,on the stunning north coast of Cornwall. We mainly attract couples and families looking for a quieter, friendly place to stay. During the peak summer season our bar/restaurant (The Shaft Inn) hosts live music, plus pub quizzes/bingo throughout the year. As we are open all year we also encourage people living locally to visit our bar/restaurant. Due to a major refurbishment and rebuild of kitchen, bar and restaurant, we have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Head Chef to join us in our exciting new venture.
Our philosophy is to provide high quality bar/takeaway food (including desserts) with excellent customer service in a relaxed environment. Use of local produce/suppliers where possible is important to us.
We are looking for an experienced chef who is reliable and trustworthy with a willingness to adapt to changing needs - sometimes at short notice!. You will be responsible for the the day to day running of the kitchen - to include stock taking, food ordering, cleaning down equipment etc. A high standard of hygiene and cleanliness as well as the ability to work as part of a team is essential.
There may also be the opportunity for a second person to work during busy periods on site, bar/restaurant, cleaning etc
Accommodation is available or a pitch for your own motorhome/tourer.
