Job Vacancy: Site warden/wardens (individual or couple)
At Sandfield House Farm, we are looking for an active , enthusiastic, honest and reliable individual or couple with excellent customer service skills to join the team for the 2024 season. To start between February & March.
You will need a good level of fitness and be able to work using your own initiative and in assisting the Park Manager and fellow wardens. You will require your own caravan to live onsite but will have access to all the onsite facilities.
This is a seasonal position (March-November) .The role is suited to those who are more flexible in both their working and personal life and maybe not those who like structured routine.
Working hours to be discussed with the successful candidate. .You will be required to work across the week, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
We allow up to 2 well behaved dogs
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Arrivals/departures- To greet and assist customers, show people to pitches, answer customer queries. Welcome late arrivals after 1700.
Cleaning of facilities - maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness inside and outside of buildings, toilets and showers. Cleaning the onsite holiday cottage on changeover days.
Gardening and maintenance of the grounds - refuse collection and general gardening duties using the tools and equipment provided. Ride on grass cutting, strimming, flower beds. Confident at moving caravans with the onsite vehicles (Tractor/Land Rover)
Maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job and participate in appropriate training and development activities.
Comply with the Health & Safety, Environmental, Quality and HR policies and procedures as set out by the Company and in line with your current responsibilities.
To be successful you will need to possess the following:
Your own touring accommodation, whether that be a Motorhome or Caravan.
Be a people person
A desire to provide at all times the highest levels of customer service and have some experience of working with customers and resolving customer issues.
A determination to achieve the highest standards of cleanliness.
A practical hands-on approach to gardening and maintenance tasks.
Self-motivation but also the ability to work as part of a team.
Be prepared to work flexibly across the week.
A current UK driving licence.
