For motorhomes, caravans and tents, the site is open 1st May to 30th September. Bikers and small groups welcomed. Small groups (maximum 20 people) please book in advance.
Free and rapid wifi access throughout the site.
WEBER kettle barbecue available for use on site free of charge - however, charcoal is not provided.
Set amongst the vineyards of the Cotes de Blaye wine producing region the campsite is the perfect holiday destination whether you are looking to stay and explore this region of France or whether you are on route to the South of France, Spain or Portugal and looking for an overnight stopover.
The campsite offers you 6 level pitches for tents, caravans and motor homes, each with electric [16amp] and water hook ups, toilet and shower facilities, plus an evacuation point for your toilet cassettes. We also accept tents. We offer the use of our washing machine for 5€ a load.
Pets are permitted to bring their humans providing they keep them under control at all times
In our small woodland and pond you may see the rare purple toothwort plant, dragonflies, butterflies and terrapins Why not take a stroll and see if you can spot them?
What more pleasant a way to spend an evening is there than to sit outside your vehicle, enjoying the peace and tranquillity that rural France has to offer, whilst enjoying an 'al fresco' meal and a bottle of the local wine

Gateway to the south of France, Spain and Portugal; Chez Tayzac is situated in a peaceful rural setting within easy access [4.5km] to J38 [St Ciers sur Gironde/St Aubin de Blaye] and to J37 [Mirambeau 13km) on the A10
The site is also only 10-13 km from St Ciers sur Gironde [Gironde], Montendre and Mirambeau [Charente Maritime] and 24 km from Blaye [Gironde] and Jonzac [Charente Maritime]
The beaches at Royan are one hour away.
Bordeaux is a mere 55km from Chez Tayzac with easy access via the N137 or the A10. Park and Ride is available at Lormont
so that you do not have to drive into the centre of Bordeaux. Annual Bordeaux Wine Festival - usually second week of June.
