A warm welcome awaits you on our family run tranquil site set within a traditional, stone-built small holding on the edge of the market town of Maybole, Ayrshire.
The site is open all year. We offer a choice of hard standing or well-drained level grass pitches, surrounded by a patchwork of rolling green countryside attracting wildlife such as deer, grey heron and barn owls. Many previous guests have remarked on the immaculate condition of the site.
All pitches have electric hook-up (16 amp) with access to a new toilet block with shower, toilet and wash basin.
Adults and children are welcome as are well behaved dogs.
The local shop is found less than a mile into Maybole. Other amenities include a supermarket, cafes, pubs and restaurants which are found within the High Street running from the imposing town hall, built in 1887, to the equally impressive Maybole Castle.
Nearby Attractions
Sporting opportunities include a swimming pool, a 9-hole golf course with splendid views across the Carrick Hills and scenic golf courses in Turnberry (8 miles) and Royal Troon (17 miles). Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy the well-stocked trout pool in Loch Mochrum (3 miles). Culzean castle and country park ( 5.5 miles) is a National Trust property set in acres of woodland, including five kilometres of coastline, caves , rock pools and sand and shingle beaches. The castle is a remarkable vision of turrets and battlements and well worth a visit. The local train and bus station (1 mile) offer easy access to other places of interest. The closest town to Maybole is Ayr (9 miles) with sandy beaches and excellent shopping facilities. The village of Alloway(8 miles), the birth place of Robert Burns is a must for fans of the Scottish Bard.

Owner Directions
From North A77 (Ayr-Girvan) fork Left in Maybole High Street (signposted Dailly, Kilkerran). Site on Left 0.3 mile after residential area (beware speed bumps) From South turn Right in Maybole High Street into St Cuthbert's Road (beside Cassillis Hotel) In 150 yards turn Right. In 0.25 mile turn Left at major road cross roads into Dailly Road.
