Campsite Kapinovski Monastery is situated at the foot of the front array side of the Balkan mountains and is very close to two magnificent Bulgarian historical and cultural architectural monuments: the Kapinovski monastery Saint Nikolay, the Wonderworker and the Plakovsky monastery Saint Ilia, the Prophet. The old Bulgarian capital city - Veliko Tarnovo, the main tourist and historical center on the Balkans - is only 20 km away from us. The complex is surrounded by the most impressive landscapes, typical for this region - picturesque water cascades, tranquil wood area with small meandering paths and a night sky filled with stars, here you will experience total pleasure and unique camping adventures. The secluded Campsite Kapinovski is a combination of wonderful entertainment and relaxation facilities.
We offer a relaxing oasis, where you can enjoy unforgettable moments in the shadow of the pine woods that fill the region. Our vacation complex provides wide grass parcels that are fitted with all the conveniences for your campers and tents. In case you don't have your own camping equipment we offer variety of rental accommodations for any taste, such as: caravans for hire, a triple room deluxe, forest houses and a tree tent.

The picturesque region is placed in the foot of the Elena Balkan, only 4 km away from the Yovkovtsi dam, which is one of the biggest and prettiest dams in Bulgaria. 2 km away, on Velchevo village way Plakovsky monastery Saint Ilia, the Prophet built during the time of King Ivan Asen, the Second, is placed. 20km south from us is the ancient capital of Bulgaria - Veliko Tarnovo. A major tourist destination with lots of cultural, historical and religious sites. Nearby are the picturesque and authentic Bulgarian villages and Towns such as Bozhentsi, Etara, Tryavna and Elena.
Campsite Kapinovski Monastery is located next to Veselina river shore, in the vicinity of the Kapinovski monastery Saint Nikolay Wonder worker monastery and about 20 km away south from the old Bulgarian capital city - Veliko Tarnovo. You will find us easily by following Velchevo village route, which is about 5 km away from the camping. The camping territory is flat and forest, surrounded by high rocky hills.
