🌞🌞🌞 DAMSON FIELD IS BACK FOR 2024!!🌞🌞🌞
Damson Field is a small, quiet, pop-up site with 20 well spaced pitches set in a 10 acre field and situated in the peace and quiet of the East Sussex countryside, overlooking Bodiam Castle and near the village of Ewhurst Green.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BREAKING NEWS! WE NOW HAVE A BRAND NEW HOT SHOWER! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
There are clean portable loos (separate male/female), a clean rustic shower with hot water, a standpipe with fresh water and a washing-up area. There is no waste disposal unit. The site is secure and fenced. Tents, campervans, motor homes only.
Owners Terry and Lynda (and assisted by our lovely friend, the always smiling Nathan!) welcome you to visit Damson Field where you can BBQ, light your campfire in the evenings and chat, toast marshmallows or sit and watch the twinkling night sky and listen to the sounds of nature. You wont believe just how many stars you can see! Wildlife is actively encouraged - there are badgers, deer and pheasant in the area - lovely sounds to hear while watching the sun set!
An lovely big area in the middle of the field has been cleared for children to play in and if you are lucky you may find one or two big hay bales to climb on!
Noise must be kept to an absolute minimum between the hours of 2300h and 0800h to allow all campers to get a well earned, restful nights sleep and we are mindful of locals living nearby.
NO parties, hen/stag nights or loud music (if other campers can hear your music/radio, ITS TOO LOUD) - the emphasis is on getting back to nature and enjoying the wildlife, peace and quiet and beauty that the location offers; so please respect this and your fellow campers.
Well behaved dogs are welcome to come for their holidays. ALL DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON A LEAD AT ALL TIMES & EXERCISED OFF SITE.
The affordable price of £14 for adults, £4.00 for children aged 3 - 15. Small people under 3 are free as are dogs. We sell firewood, kindling and firelighters and offer free use of fire pits.
Arrivals between 1400h and 2000h please - earlier/later by prior arrangement - happy to try and accommodate! Departures by 12 noon unless otherwise arranged (we are flexible!). As this is a rustic field with no mod cons, we ask that you please take all your rubbish home with you on departure - please ensure you bring suitable rubbish bags. We cant emphasise enough that we strive to minimise environmental impact.
Please note that this is a rustic, simple, pop-up site in spring and summer (the best time of year of course!). The setting is idyllic and the local area is lovely and worth visiting.
We also offer the entire field for private/event hire and wedding/birthday hire all year round, and welcome artist camping weekends or similar groups.
You just couldnt ask for a more picturesque venue!
Please visit our website to book directly or contact us on the enquiry form.
We look forward to having you camp with us!
