South Devon Camping is a relaxed, simple, off-grid campsite, situated on a working farm, within easy walking distance of the beach, in a prime South Devon location and with a superb atmosphere.
There are all the facilities you need for an affordable holiday including hot showers (coin operated), eco loos, communal fridge freezers, fire pit hire and hot water in the kitchen areas. The site offers a farm shop selling farm grown produce, local produce and basics.
Pitches are grass and spacious at 10m square, and come with a view of the beautiful Devon countryside. Well behaved dogs are welcome, bring your own fire pit or hire one on site.
We close on 5th September 2021.
Prices are from £18 to £25 per night per pitch and include one vehicle. No charge for gazebos or dogs, and feel free to add your friend's and family to your pitch for a discounted rate.
This is the last campsite before the beach, and within easy walking distance, so no need to pay for beach car parking. South Milton Beach is a glorious long sandy, safe, beach where the rockpools appear at low tide. There is a variety of watersports available including SUP, kayaking and windsurfing. Tennis court hire and golf are also just a short stroll away in the neighbouring thatched village of Thurlestone. For those that love to walk, the South West Coastal Path meanders along the cliff edge in both directions and you are free to explore the various coves and bays. A local pub, and eateries on the beach, are all only a short walk away.
South Devon Camping is a special place that campers just love and return to year after year.

* Kingsbridge - for all your basic needs such as supermarkets, chemists, individual shops etc plus catch the River Maid Ferry to Salcombe, visit the charming cinema or take a swim at the leisure centre.

Owner Directions
We are located very near to the coast, so the closer you get to us, the more beautiful the views, but also the narrower the lanes get! We suggest that you do not use a Satnav to get to us directly, but use Google Maps to locate us and get to us via the A381 Kingsbridge to Salcombe road. If heading from Kingsbridge to Salcombe, there is a turning off right on the A381 for South Milton. Take this, drive past the church and keep meandering right through the village until you get to the South Devon Camping signs (it is about 1.5 miles).
