Kez's Campsite, a stunning family campsite, located less than 15 miles from the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales.
Welcome to Kez's Campsite, a family run business in its first of many years of taking on campers. Situated on a peaceful South Cumbrian farm, Kez's Campsite overlooks South Lakeland, Arnside Knott and Morecambe Bay. Get away from the tedious months in lockdown and explore the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales or Forest of Bowland as it should be done - with some tranquil back-to-basics camping!
Kez's Campsite has many things to offer in its first year of running. One thing that the campsite strives for is a more personal camping experience. Being a family-run site, you can be assured that Kez or a family member will be there to meet and greet you.
Everyone knows that going camping requires a lot of careful packing and sometimes you may forget a thing or two. For this reason, Kez's Shop was started. Based out the back of a 1985 Land Rover Defender, everything from fresh milk to bacon from the local farms will be offered to you daily (5th July - 15th August).
Being in such a beautiful and peaceful area usually comes at a cost of being miles off the beaten track, whereas Kez's Campsite, in all its tranquillity, is only 8 minutes off the M6, with the appetising local pubs all within a 5 mile radius.
As well as pubs, there are plenty of other local activities and fine cuisine. One night a week the campsite will be visited by Dude's Dough, a local Pizza Van company, who produce some of the finest Neapolitan style pizza Cumbria has to offer.
From the 12th April up until the 17th August, wild camping pitches are available to book.
Unlike normal camping, wild camping will take place in a more remote location, with no everyday amenities, such as toilets and shower. Instead campers must rely on their own wits to get through the night.
Kez's Campsite has some great location from ancient woodland to grassy meadows. Be sure to get in touch to book your wicked wild camping pitch now.
