A 4-star park situated in it's own valley...

On the edge of the historic, old market and elegant spa town of Buxton. We are a quiet rural park surrounded by farms & fields with a lovely viaduct. We are also the closest park to Buxton town (only a £3.80 taxi or a 20 mins walk).

Nestling amongst the surrounding Derbyshire hills at a height of over 1000ft, Buxton is reputed to be the highest town in England, and grew in fame as a spa town because of the pale blue water that bubbles up from thermal springs in the heart of the Peak District.

The elegant town of Buxton has a wealth of lovely buildings dating from its days as a fashionable spa resort in the 18th and 19th centuries and the glorious Buxton Opera House with a wealth of walks and cycle routes.

Lime Tree Park is ideally placed for discovering the glories of the Derbyshire countryside. Next to a thickly wooded limestone gorge, and with the backdrop of a magnificent old railway viaduct, Lime Tree is in a Special Landscaped Area perfect for touring, camping or a family holiday in our modern luxury accommodation. A relaxing haven, that enjoys far reaching views over nearby Buxton and the surrounding hills.

Lime Trees touring pitches are mostly hard standing with electric hook up, offering commanding views of the surrounding farmland and the viaduct.

Camping at lime tree is relaxed and informal, you choose where you want to be! Our terrace areas are very popular offering privacy and near to the childrens play area ideal for families. We also have a large camping field with amazing views of the local countryside with room to play ball games and a campervan corner.

The shower blocks are fitted out to the highest standards, with spacious free hot showers. Onsite there is a FREE wifi zone, a shop, a butchers farm shop, a Discover Buxton tram tours to town, kids playground and a pool table.

We are located approximately 1 mile from Buxton town centre yet surrounded by the countryside. It is a £3.80 taxi ride to anywhere in Buxton centre or 20-25 mins walk or 4 mins drive. From the town centre take the A515 southbound towards Ashbourne. Continue past the Esso garage on the left and at the bottom of the hill turn left into Duke's Drive following the brown camping park sign. Drive under the railway viaduct and Lime Tree Holiday Park is on the right. If you carry past Lime Tree Park, you will come to Morrison's supermarket (3 mins away) near the Bakewell A6 road.
