Set within Snowdonia National Park and just a few minutes from the pretty Welsh village that shares its name, Beddgelert is an idyllic riverside location, surrounded by snow-capped mountains in an area of Wales that is steeped in legend.
The Colwyn River runs through the site, allowing nature lovers the opportunity to spot an otter or a trout. Other local wildlife abounds, drawn by the diverse range of plants in the forest.
You can also catch a train on the Welsh Highland Railway to Caernarfon and connections to Porthmadog or follow the footpath along the banks of the Glaslyn River to Beddgelerts most famous historic feature: Gelerts Grave.
There is a shop on the site, selling groceries and camping equipment.
Dogs are welcome on the site and there are toilets and showers available, along with electric hook-ups.
