The walking country of the Lake District is immediately outside our Kendal Club Site. The site is perfect for exploring the coast or the Pennines and is easily reached from the M6. There are lovely fell views from many pitches on this hillside site.
Kendal town is a couple of miles from the site. It has a good selection of restaurants, supermarkets and factory retail outlets.
It is also home to the Abbot Hall Art Gallery, the Museum of Lakeland Life and the Kendal Museum. In September the town hosts a torchlight procession. There are good views of the town from the ruins of Kendal Castle.
The Quaker Tapestry Exhibition tells of 350 years of history in embroidered form.
The Brewery Arts Centre hosts shows and exhibitions, and has two cinemas.
Windermere is the closest lake to site. The Lake District Visitor Centre at Brockhole is on its shore.
The facilities shown on this website are a guide only, and you should check with the campsite direct before making any booking. The UKCampsite.co.uk will not be held responsible for any errors or omissions
