Description
Pitches: 26 pitch 4 wigwams 3 pods
Opening Dates this year: 01/01/2022 to 31/12/2022
A peaceful, relaxing holiday retreat in 7.5 acres of park and woodland.
NO BAR - NO DISCO - NO BINGO!
Determined to keep away from the rigidity of row upon row of tents and tourers, our camp site of only 26 pitches is spread over four natural areas. The sunny, open tree-lined main field slightly exceeds one acre and has 16 pitches, six of which have electrical hook-up facilities. The wood - ideal for tents has only four pitches whereas End Field and First Fairing are alcoves of only four pitches. The site has a campers shower and toilet block with solar and gas hot water supply; there are laundry facilities with washing machines, tumble driers and ironing equipment provided.
The childrens play area is seperate from the camping fields with football and the woods to roam in.
We also have a field with our chickens and rare breed pigs for everybody to say hello to. Our fully stocked shop has lots of local produce and ice pack freezing facility.
New this year - Wigwams - Wigwams are sturdy wooden camping cabins that sleep upto 5 people. They are comfortably equipped with foam mattresses on bunks, lighting, heating, microwave, fridge and kettle - a few mod cons for your glamping adventure. Go Wild - Go Wigwam
The range of trees and shrubs reflect the high level of expertise which went into landscaping this beautiful undulating site some thirty years ago.
