Cannock Chase has rolling hills, heathers, quiet forests and wild fallow deer. On the edge of one of the Midlands' most popular beauty spots, it is great for walkers as well as those exploring further afield.
The Chase is England's smallest mainland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Visitor Centre and cafe are good places to start an exploration of this lovely area.
Cannock is five miles from the Club Site. It has a good shopping centre, a leisure centre and market place.
The bronze age hill fort at Castle Ring is a mile's walk from the site.
Shugborough Estate, managed by the National Trust, is a late 17th century mansion with a 19th century model farm and servants' quarters.
