Welcome to Macdonalds Farm...
We welcome campers, touring caravans and motorhomes. Our pitches are very generous in size and we have both electric and non-electric available plus full free shower/toilet facilities. Everything has been upgraded for 2021 season and we are excited to offer a brand new Farm Garden which will house a lawn for picnics and play, a new playground, pop up food and a Sundowner Bar plus pony rides and activities for little ones during peak season.
We are perfectly located between Newquay and Padstow, situated in a beautiful rural setting but only half a mile from Porthcothan Beach and we are the perfect choice for families, walkers or anyone just wanting a quiet relaxing break. Just set back from the rugged coastline, we have country views in a very quiet secluded spot, looking down the valley only disturbed by the sound of our animals.
We have a lovely dog run at the bottom of our campsite and welcome dogs of all sizes.
We have a reception area and shop open selling hot drinks, pastries and all your food & camping essentials and we can also pre order bbq meat packs for you! We have a laundrette and freezer area, plus charging points available.
We are open to everyone, however we are a small site ideally for people looking for a chilled holiday - we are not a party campsite and have a strict no noise policy so our guests especially younger ones can have the comfort of a good night's sleep. Please do read our T & C's before booking.
There is so much to see and do nearby -
Padstow is just five miles from us with numerous stunning bays along the coastline. And there are many interesting places to visit within a short drive, for example the Eden project is only 15 miles away. Walkers can pick up the South West Coastal Path at the beach for lovely walks along the headland and there is even a regular bus service that runs between Padstow and Newquay and stops right outside our site so theres no need to walk both ways unless you want to!
