Description

Situated in the stunning Brecon Beacons National Park, the peace and quiet of the Dan Yr Ogof Show Caves site, together with its beautiful mountain scenery, allow you to unwind and dream away the day. Voted one of the top 25 caravan parks in Britain by a national newspaper.
Dan-yr-Ogof has a Dinosaur Park, complete with over 100 replicas of life-size prehistoric animals, as well as the Showcaves, which are part of the limestone mountains. Theres also a replica Iron Age Farm, a shire-horse centre and a Victorian farm, as well as fields full of donkeys and llamas.
The campsite itself is on the far side of the Showcaves and dinosaur park. The site, together with the toilet block facilities, have been completely redesigned and renovated over the past 2 years.
Included in our prices for our caravan park are the following: electrical hook-ups, hard standings, grey water outlets and water pipes - available on ALL individual pitches. There are NO extra charges for awnings or dogs.
Free Wi-Fi is available
Facilities include a shower, toilet and hand basin.
Fresh water tap outside the disabled toilet.
All winter pitches are on hard standing.
Tents: An electrical supply for a tent is £5 per night. We cannot guarantee electrical points for tents as they are available on a 'first come' basis
Our site is very environmentally friendly as your electrical needs are met by our own hydro generators and solar panels.
There are many excellent restaurants close to the site for your evening meals.
Caravan Rallies
We have several large well-drained flat fields, which are ideal for hosting small, and large caravan rallies.
Coffee Shop
If you are feeling hungry during your stay with us then why not visit our coffee shop that opens at 9.00 a.m.? We also offer a lunch and tea menu.
Nearby Attractions
If your holiday expectations include climbing magnificent mountains, walking behind raging waterfalls, exploring mysterious gorges, or even visiting a castle clinging to the top of a cliff, then you could not find a better holiday base.
In addition to the wonderful natural attractions you can also enjoy the thrill of sliding down a mountain on the dry ski slope which is close by, or let the horse take the strain, and go pony trekking through the National Park!
Throw your cares away for a while, as you sit and relax by the sites river pathways and watch our gushing mountain river dodging past massive glacial boulders as it flows swiftly through our site on its journey down our valley to the sea, just 20 miles away.
A great day out is the ‘Gower Coast, just an hours drive away

Owner Directions
From junction 43 on the M4 take theA465 to Glyn Neath, then the A4109, on to theA4221 to Abercrave. Pick up the A4607 to Dan-yr-Ogof. The signs will guide you in.
Catch a train to Abergavenny, then hop onto the Sixty-Sixty bus no X43 towards Brecon/Cardiff. The bus stops very near to the site and you can find timetables at reception for your journey home.
