Le Caussanel campsite was once a farm. The old barns, dating from the beginning of the 20th Century, have been restored and are now used as the reception, grill and children's club. These barns, built in stone and close to the lake, are precisely what make this campsite so unique.
In the campsite's aquatic area you are lying on a sun lounger while the children are going happily down the slides. The aquatic area is equipped to please even the youngest. In addition to the aquatic area you have direct access to the Pareloup lake. Entertainment organized on the campsite is adapted to everyone: mini-club, tournaments, theme parties in the evenings, shows in the open-air theater.
At the campsite, several eating, drinking and snack services are available for you: bar, grill and take away. The small grocery shop sells a basic range of products as well as fresh baguettes and croissants. (Services are limited during low season)
Nearby Attractions
Aveyron is an exceptional French region with a multitude of typical towns worth a visit: Conques, Najac, Rodez, Roquefort, Peyre. It also includes must-see natural sites such as the Tarn rapids. Make the most of your visit by sampling dishes typical of the region: aligot, made with potatoes and fresh Tomme cheese, or Roquefort, a cheese full of character.
Thanks to its central situation in the heart of the department and its closeness to the Pareloup lake, campsite Le Caussanel offers an advantage in at least two ways; the surrounding nature allows both sport and nature activities. Moreover, its central position offers numerous opportunities to discover the different sites in Aveyron which are really worthwhile.
