Riverside Campsite, near Skipton - gateway to the Yorkshire Dales - is nestled in the quiet village of Cononley. This small, family run site is only 3 miles from Skipton. This is a lively market town, with excellent shopping, Norman castle and canal boat trips.
The site boasts gorgeous views of the surrounding hills and countryside, the perfect setting for a peaceful and relaxing holiday.
Set in 3 acre of level, grassed land with toilets, shower-room & electric hook ups.
We have pitches for 5 motor homes or caravans, hard standing pitches for the winter, and 60 tent pitches.
This year (2023) we are proud to have opened our brand new toilet and shower block. We have showers, toilets and wash basins all with plenty of hot water.
Another area is provided with sinks for washing up pots, plus there is a fridge and freezer for customers to store food and drinks on the hot days.
In the reception area we have information on local walks, activities and events which are taking place throughout the area.
For those who like fishing there are footpaths leading to the nearby River Aire.
The camp site is only 300m walk from the heart of the village. Cononley has two pubs, one serving meals.
There is an excellent railway station in the village with links to Skipton, Settle/Carlisle, Saltaire, Bingley and Leeds. #
We are a members site - new comers are all welcome with the Camping and Caravan Club.
We have a 4 acre rally field available from April to September each year. In a quiet country location close to pubs and public transport with peaceful views overlooking fields and trees to hills beyond. Groups wanting to hire this need to hold an exemption certificate. Water and chemical waste are provided.
Nearby Attractions
Swimming pools, golf, fishing, childrens park, horse riding, local walks, childrens play barn, canal trips, restaurants are all close by. Local market days at Skipton are Monday, Wednessday, Friday and Saturday.

Situated off the A629 from Skipton, turn right into Cononley, over the level crossing and past the railway pub on your right followed by a row of houses. Immediately after the new housing development turn sharp right into Moorfoot Lane - campsite sign is on a pole pointing right down this lane. We are over the bridge on the left. BD20 8LX
