Description
Pitches: 10 acres tents - occasional VW, camper or caravan
Opening Dates next year: 01/05/2024 to 30/09/2024
Run by campers a spacious site on organic land in rural Sussex. Two main fields with level camping, toilets, water taps, hot showers and direct access to the Weald Way. No set pitches - just turn up and find your own ambience.
Open fires are a favorite of ours - we love the smell of woodsmoke - and logs can be supplied.
We want to have as low an impact on the land as possible. Therefore we have created waterless (smell free) toilets which allows all waste to return to nature.
We can deal with all recyclable waste, cans, tins, glass and plastic bottles, food scraps, but please take any non-recyclable (mainly plastic wrappers) waste with you when you leave.
You will be able to park by your tents in camping fields.
Dogs are allowed but only on leads when leaving the site as we are surrounded by livestock. Make sure you clear up their waste (dumping eco-bags in the compost bin is ok).
Families are really welcome - children go free. Please be careful of the kids having any crisps, sweets or drinks in individual wrappers as these can end up all over the unspoilt countryside surrounding us.
We only charge adults - £12.50 per night - a bargain for this fantastic open land in the heart of the Low Weald rolling Sussex landscape.
Please book via form on this site.
If you want stay for longer as eco-volunteer please talk to staff at site.
If you would like to camp this weekend just turn up as we are updating our system
Come and join us - we look forward to meeting you.

Bull Bridge is north of Golden Cross on the A22. Turn right off the road from Ringmer onto the A22, after a short distance turn left just after the Golden Cross BP garage. Over Burgh Hill onto Muddles Green village - turn right, past Farleys Barn, left into Scrapers Hill. Into one dip then the road climbs towards Hale Green. The road dips again - we`re on the right at the bottom as the road levels out - stop opposite to ensure oncoming traffic can see you before turning into the fields.
From Horam head south on the A267, turn behind the May Garland pub down Chiddingly Road. Turn right at the oast house, downhill to the bottom and we`re on the left just after the bridge.
