Pitches: 40 +20 limited camping
Opening Dates this year: 01/04/2022 to 30/09/2022
Sadly, due to the implications of Covid-19, we are only open for our seasonal guests this season.
***From early September we will be allocating seasonal touring pitches for those who wish to site their touring caravan here with us for the 2021 season. visit our website for details and phone to discuss and check if we have availability . Please note we do not offer seasonal pitches to 'family shared' caravans.***
Talywerydd is a quiet non-commercial family-run site enjoying a rural location on the west Wales coast,with panoramic sea-views across Cardigan Bay.
We DO NOT have a clubhouse, swimming pool or amusement arcade. We DO NOT have onsite entertainment, bingo nights, etc... If you are looking for those things, then unfortunately, Talywerydd is not the site for you! Quiet time is from 10.30pm - 7am and with all our lovely fresh sea air you will be ready for a good night's sleep!
For those wanting a traditional non-commercial camping/caravanning holiday, Talywerydd is well worth your consideration.
Many of our guests return year after year.
We offer a great base for couples and families to explore the various activities and attractions on offer in our beautiful part of Wales.
Our Campers' Kitchen has a microwave, kettle, toaster and freezers for ice packs, all available for campers to use free of charge.There is also a small laundry area (coin-operated).
During the Whitsun holiday and the Summer holiday we open up our Family camping field which is for families with younger children to relax and enjoy the open space. We have plenty of room for children to let off steam safely. We have a ball games area with football nets and some small pieces of play equipment for the younger children.
Dogs must be on a lead at all times outside of the dog exercise area.No dangerous breeds.No more than two dogs per pitch.
There are also 2 convenience stores nearby, one a mile away the other 2 miles.
We have 4 beautiful beaches all within 3 miles.
We do not have a pub/clubhouse on site. However, we are located amongst several country pubs all within 2-3 miles in various directions: Tresaith (1 pub), Aberporth(2), Llangrannog(2), Pentregat(1).

We are located on the A487, nine miles north of Cardigan.
Approaching from the north:
After exiting the village of Sarnau, continue along the A487 and as the road starts to descend, take the turning on the right for Penbryn, on the bend opposite the farm shop.
Approaching from the south:
After exiting the village of Tanygroes, continue along the A487 and take the second turning on the left for Penbryn, on the bend.
