Welcome to our family owned campsite ,open from April to September . Come and discover this little known region of the Dordogne « La Double », spend a few days with us as a stop off point or as a base for a longer stay to recharge your batteries. Experience an assortment of sporting activities (cycling, swimming in the river, canoeing, tree climbing, hiking, fishing …) or simply relax and enjoy the natural surroundings or visit the interesting cultural sites of the region.
Saint Aulaye is an attractive destination for an enjoyable holiday. Namely for : it's rich heritage and history, it's remarkable natural environment , and exceptionel scenery for welcome breaks, its culture and art , it's welcoming inhabitant and it's dynamic activities. .
Our Mobile Homes
If you are nature lovers but also like your comforts, we offer comfortable mobile homes , which sleep 4-6 persons. There is a double bedroom and a single bedroom for the kids, an equipped kitchen area , a dining area, a bathroom (with shower) and separate toilet, and a shaded terrace . The mobile homes are equipped with electric heaters.Our Chalets
For the "natural way of life" enthusiasts , our wooden chalets which sleep 2, 4 or 6 persons. All our chalets have an equipped kitchen area, a dining area, separate bedrooms, and small terrace.
The chalets are located in a natural environment . Where your privacy is respected .
or tent enthusiast, the campsite « La Dordogne Verte » has 45 good size pitches all different - shady pitches ,sunny plots or pitches separated by trees , well spaced to give you privacy from your neighbours.
Caravans and motorhomes are also welcome on site, all pitches have water and electricity points.

Directions
The campsite is situated near Saint-Aulaye, located between the Charente, the Gironde and the Perigord, an ideal base to discover the surrounding area and its various activities : hiking trails in some of the the most beautiful forests of the Dordogne which stretch for over 55 000, visiting beautiful romanesque churchs.
By car :
Take the motorway A89 (coming from Clermont-Ferrand and Perigueux) and the A10 (from Saintes or Paris). From Paris, leave the A10 at Poitiers and take the N10 direction Angouleme. La Dordogne Verte campsite is located on the D38.
By train :
Saint-Aigulin station at 13km ( Angouleme/Bordeaux axis) and Montpon-Menestrol at 20km, (axis Perigueux/Bordeaux). Then a taxi to Saint-Aulaye.
