Route from A6 Matlock Crown Square roundabout A615 (Alfreton Road) through Tansley - up the hill and continue until you see the sign for Lickpenny turning left at the crossroads onto Lickpenny Lane.
Route from M1 Junction 28 M1 - keep left for A38 Signposted Alfreton/Matlock - Off the A38 at Alfreton / Matlock take 3rd exit right signposted A615 Matlock - keep in the left lane and carry on the A615 for approx 8 miles Lickpenny is signposted turning right onto Lickpenny Lane - continue to the end of the lane and turn right again into site.
Lickpenny is situated approximately 3 miles from Matlock, 9 miles from Bakewell, and 10 miles from Chesterfield.

Local attractions include Ogston Water for Sailing, walking and Bird watching, Press Manor Fishery, Lea Gardens for beautiful Rhododendrons early on in the season, Crich Tramway Museum and Cromford Canal. Sir Richard Arkwright Historical Centre, Cable car rides and Gullivers Kingdom in Matlock Bath and Masson Mill shopping complex.
