Festivals, Highland Games and many modern visitor attractions provide plenty of activity and entertainment in Oban in glorious settings.
The town of Oban and the surrounding area is bristling with things to do and see. Such a historic location means that there are of course many castles and standing stones to visit. McCaig's Tower overlooks the town and is well worth the short (if uphill!) walk from the town centre to see the view.
