Directions
Being located between Bakewell and Matlock, Barn farm is extremely accesible by the A6 and then taking the B5056.
Please do not, under any circumstances, try and approach the campsite via Stanton Lees in any large vehicle. The road is very steep and narrow and is most unsuitable. Please use the B5056 as above.
We are at the very top of the village on the right hand side.

There are well-maintained footpaths throughout the area. Bordering the farm is the mystical Stanton Moor with its ancient 'Nine Ladies' stone circle. A little farther the River Lathkill provides the focus of a pleasant walk through the beautiful Lathkill Dale.
Robin Hood's Stride and Catcliffe Rocks are just two of the local climbing areas. There are many excellent sports facilities within the region such as fishing, riding and watersports.
