Nearby Attractions
Stroud Hill Park is on the outskirts of the village of Pidley, which sits at the centre of the county of Cambridgeshire. The attractions of the region are many from the beautiful city of Cambridge, to the cathedral cities of Ely and Peterborough, the walking and cycling of Huntingdonshire, the waterways and the rural pleasures of the many unspoilt villages.
There are many National Trust properties (eg. Wimpole Hall, Houghton Mill, Peckover House and Anglesey Abbey) within a short distance of the site along with numerous other heritage houses and gardens welcoming visitors. Huntingdonshire has a wealth of history, which is brought to life in local museums along with historical links with famous people including Samuel Pepys and Oliver Cromwell.
Huntingdonshire also offers a landscape of ancient churches and lovely villages in pretty rural scenery of water meadows.
