Excellent little site nice and quite brilliant pitches near the river.
Owners very friendly and showed us to our pitch.
Nothing too much trouble
Showers 25 pence token well worth it. And clean
3 brilliant days
Our neighbours were bunny rabbits and ducks so peaceful
Will come back again when did this part of Cambridge

Small site very nice next to river and marine.
Some traffic noise from road but not excessive.
Was shown to our pitch and then left to get on with it as most things were quite clear that was fine but would have been nice if someone had bothered to tell me we needed a token for the showers which cost 25p fine except you can't get one when you go for your shower at 6am.

We arrived in rain, and it rained most of the weekend, but the owners were lovely and saw us to a plot that was dry, and helped us into the space.
Unfortunately it was not nice enough for us to venture very far, but the facilities were clean and tidy and the site is a beautiful place.
On leaving, the owners again helped us move the caravan safely from our plot as it was muddy. Again they were very nice and helpful.
We are planning to go again when the summer comes so we can make use of the beautiful site.

Convenient site. Friendly owners. Good routes to Cambridge and St Ives.
Nice countryside.
Nice shops and pubs but huntingdon appears rather run down.

We spent 40 years flying over this site (on the flyover) so finally decided to stop and glad we did.
A very handy site, tents go up on what passes for a hill in these parts (about 3m high) so it's a bit further to the facilities.
£19 for a plain tent pitch and showers 25p by token so you have to catch the warden to pay.
Now the A14 flyover has been demolished it is pretty quiet. Huntingdon town centre is a short walk, the Bridge Hotel has a splendid wine list, the Darjeeling has some unusual items on its menu, and the Falcon pub had 11 cask ales on, including one at £2.
A slightly longer walk to the Covid test centre!

This site is within easy walking distance of Huntingdon, Godmanchester and Porthome for walking your dog. Good pubs in the area and easy access for Touring Caravans/Motorhomes.
Although the toilets and showers are dated, they are kept clean and having toilet/shower facilities in our caravan this did not detract from the enjoyable experience of the site.
We had a great pitch for our caravan (Pitch 15) with lovely views over the marina and Porthome.
There is very little road noise now that the A14 has been rerouted and it was lovely to watch the boats going by from our pitch.
The owners were very friendly and the campsite suited all the needs for a couple of our age.
I believe that the positives far outweigh the negative comments posted by other reviewers and we have already booked two separate visits again in 2022.

The plus point of the site is it is within easy walking distance to the town of Huntingdon, so great for walking to pubs in the area.
Would recommend the Bridge Hotel, had a lovely meal in there and the facilities and staff are excellent. The site is overlooking the river, so pleasant, if you can see it through the trees.
The minus of the site is it is a small camping field. The put off points are the site needs a good cleaning and maintenance.
Lots of discarded items lying around and unused or uncared for/abandoned caravans, motorhomes in the camping area.
The toilets and showers aren't very clean, only one toilet in use. Dont know what the caravan area was like, but I have been to better campsites.
It probably was a nice site a few years ago.

Site charming, welcoming and facilities spotless.
Very little road noise as A14 has been rerouted.
Close to shops, pubs etc in both Godmanchester and Huntingdon.
Will definitely return.

Good site next to the river, great views and walks. 10 minute walk into Huntingdon.
Used as a stopover on this trip but would have stayed longer.
