 Totally recommend this site,

Arrived to find plenty of room so could pick our spot, attached our awning, and we were done,

Toilets and showers were cleaned regularly, and being able to walk into village was a bonus.

Will definitely visit again soon, thank you see you soon 👍

It's a large well managed field which slopes quite a bit but has flat areas in the middle.

There is some EHU which is first come first served.

There is also another smaller field at the back of the site. You park and wait for the management to come on a quad bike to complete your payments but no office and no help with choosing a pitch offered.

The toilets and showers are reasonable but its a long walk from the bottom of the field to the only shower block.

Alfriston village, with a few shops and buses available there, and the South Downs Way are 10 minutes walk away from the site.

Great campsite, good clean showers although a little chilly they were very clean, toilets were kept clean, use of the washing up facilities was great so we didn't have to boil a kettle each time we needed to wash up.

The only problem we had was the drive up the path to the campsite, lots of holes and big bumps scrapped the exhaust a few times.

Would benefit from a resurface or holes filling in and smoothing out a bit.

All in all a great little stop over.

Easy stroll to a great little village with a shop, pubs and tea rooms. Relaxed campsite with friendly staff, plenty of space, no unnecessary rules, great views across the downs.

All you need for camping is clean toilets, hot showers, somewhere to wash up and a recycling option for your rubbish.

This is camping as we like it. Great conversations with the neighbours, well maintained facilities and green grass.

 Nice amd simple campsite

Relaxed vibe

ACP is set in an idyllic location in the South Downs surrounded by fields with cows, horses and alpacas. Yes, alpacas @_@

Very reasonable at £10 a night and £10 to rent the fire pit with logs (a must) and £6 for extra logs.

Good facilities, hot showers, toilets, washing up station.

I met 2 staff members, Ryan and some other bloke.

Ryan was an absolute legend. Really welcoming, helpful and friendly. The other (blonde hair with beard) not so friendly or welcoming.

(probably because on my second night there was a slightly noisy party not far from me playing fairly loud music. At first I was going to complain to them about the noise, but ended up partying with them into the small hours. If you can't beat them join them eh ?!).

The blonde staff member probably thought I was with them, hence the coldness he gave to me the next day. I don't blame him and he was respectful. )

Kudos to Ryan who was just the best.

I strongly recommend this campsite if not for the alpacas alone

An idyllic site set in the heart of Alfriston and only a short walk from the village shops.

Fantastic site, great facilities and Kevin was extremely helpful.

Would highly recommend.
