 Have stayed a couple of times, pre 2008 but dates don't go back further.
Once in one of the Welsh houses and then a chalet by the river.
Location is lovely but also causes many problems.
Both properties were very very damp. On going back, and staying in the chalet we found that too was damp. We were lent a dehumidifier which helped but it swallowed up a lot of money. We got a partial refund of costs as owners refused to accept there was a problem.
Maybe things have improved, and maybe the caravans won't be so damp but it is one place we are not keen to return to.
We didn't try the club due to illness and the pool was closed. My Mum tried out the salon and was very happy and the shop stocked all the essentials.
Have to say though as most property is privately owned if heated and ventilated well there may be no problem what so ever.

Excellent range of family facilities on site and beautiful location, although £19/night for a 4 berth tent was steep.
However, toilets were filthy and shower block is cockroach city.
Apparently site is due to close later this summer to make way for static caravans.

Been here 4 or 5 times this year, wonderful site, you can pitch your van or tent right next to the river, which by the way runs very fast, though it is not deep. So you dont get any midges.
The showers are clean, and roomy, hot water, dryer and drying factilites. It has a an outdoor pool, clubhouse, hot meals, snacks etc., Shop housing essentials, and a hairdressers.. It is a large site, chalets, lodges, statics etc., set in between, rivers, lakes, ponds and woods. Fishing is available the kids love this site. Its £12.00 per night for tourers and its about five mins by car to Caenarvon town centre.
