We have stayed at this site many times before and have reviewed it previously but this was our first visit of 2022.

On arrival I was greeted by name by the really friendly warden who seems to remember us from one visit to the next, which is a nice touch and makes you feel really at home.

We were on a hardstanding serviced pitch with water and waste connection. The pitch was large with a good grassy area both behind and to one side for sitting out.

The facilities were immaculate as usual but do get very busy around 8. 30am. I gave up going for a shower at that time and had breakfast and read the paper first and then went over for a shower at 9. 30am when the block was almost empty.

The shower block closes for cleaning in the afternoons so there is no rush in the morning to get in before they close.

We had fabulous weather for our visit this time and really enjoyed the area once again, finding a few new places which we haven’t visited before as well as repeating some favourite walks in the area.

The site is brilliantly located, about 15 minutes walk from Broadway Village Centre and it is lovely to be able to stroll down into the village for a coffee (Tisanes is our favourite tearoom) and a potter around the shops.

This year we visited the nearby lavender farm which was quite a sight to see! The lavender is only in bloom for a few weeks of the summer and we have always missed it in the past so it was great to see it this year.

This is definitely a favourite site for us.

Very smart site in a lovely location, fairy expensive but probably woth it. Broadway is a lovely village/town (can't make its mind up!). Right next to line of GWSR steam railway which is exciting - rides to Cheltenham & back.

Also do Pizza shack on mondays and Food Genie do a steak meal on Wednesdays - we had rump steaks, lovely chips, mushrooms, toms, onion rings, salad and mustard and mushroom or pepper corn sauces; from Food Genie who turns up at 5:30, takes orders and cooks on site.

It was superb. Great cycle out through Childswickham and Sedgeberrow, then south into a headwind to Alderton Fields, Gretton and its church fir a crunchy bar stop. The on off drizzle became a bit heavier but mostly fizzled out!, and the day was surprisingly balmy.

On through Greet and the lovely Stanway with huge private estate and parkland, then beautiful Stanton. On along lanes joining a busier B road just before Broadway. 22. 15 miles of lovely lanes and pretty Cotswold villages, mostly cleverly keeping away from the hills evident all around, by staying in the Vale of Evesham and the Isbourne flood plain.

We also did a walk, setting off in a shower, had a look at steam railway GWSR. Then via Eadburgha's church to Coneygrees and up that side of Broadway Tower as sun came out. Amazing views. Then joined Cotswold Way and back down to Broadway.

A coffee and look around tge shops - mainly to buy local beer and cider, Broadway cider and Cotswold Lion beer. 7. 3 miles back to site.

Lovely four day break, snow on the surrounding hills when we arrived, by the time we had set up it snowed and the following morning woke up in a winter wonderland, such a glorious location and right next to a steam railway with a station across the road.

Only a ten minute walk into the picturesque village of Broadway made even nicer by the Christmas lights. Lots of places to eat in the village and the Fish and chips in Russell's up there with the best especially the minted mushy peas.

Excellent facilities in the main block although the top block was closed due to water pressure issues, such a shame as it houses the Wanderer caravan.

We were on a service pitch and the top was frozen but lucky enough to use the next pitch which was free. Good flat large hardstanding pitch.

Good WiFi and TV signal through the hook up on the bollard.

Terrific wardens who kept the place spotless despite the cold weather.

Lovely site. Train goods wagon in the car park is a nod to the steam rail service very nearby which seemed a popular attraction.

Easy walk to the local town with a selection of shops cafes and pubs.

Site was busy but was well maintained to the usual CC standards. Toilets and showers were warm and very clean.

Good 16a electric and shop site sells a variety of essentials etc. Site located on a nice wide road so access is easy.

Road didn't create too much noise and became quiet at night.

We regularly visit the Broadway CMC site and have reviewed it previously.

This 4 night autumn break was as good as ever with the site being immaculately kept and the wardens friendly and helpful.

We had good weather which always helps and we were able to fit in some lovely walks in the area.

Most of the covid restrictions appear to now be lifted but they are still requesting that you wear a mask in communal areas.

Great site for walking into Broadway. Lovely big pitches and clean facilities. Walk into Broadway was about 10/15 mins.

Steam train station across the road. We took the train to Cheltenham Racecourse then a taxi into Cheltenham for a couple of hours.

Lovely site will definitely visit again.

Fantastic site next to heritage railway line. Enjoyed watching the steam trains pass by.

Around a 10 minute walk into the pretty Cotswold village of Broadway with its boutique shops & many eateries.

Pitches are a good size & the site feels spacious.

Back here again as stated in our August 2020 review. Not much to add to our previous review or David Klyne’s excellent review below (great review as usual David and we love your website).

This time the The Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Steam Railway was open and we had pre-booked “Rover” tickets so spent most of the day on the train and in the café’s on the route. Broadway village was as pleasing as ever and we had a very nice meal in The Swan which we would recommend.

The facilities were fully open this time and although in the main we use the ones in our Motorhome it was nice to see. The second block at the top of the site was still closed though during our visit.

This site has become one of our favourites and we will continue to return and have no hesitation in recommending it. The only downside is that you have to book it well in advance of your stay because it is very popular (we booked this stay in September 2020 and there were not many pitches left even then)!

This is an update of a previous review. Broadways CMC site is a very popular site and is situated in the Cotswolds just outside the village of the same name.

It is exclusively for Club members and is open all year. This site has 116 level, good sized, pitches all but a handful are on hardstanding including 20 which are serviced pitches with their own water supply and grey water waste point.

The site is in two sections, the original upper section, with the old railway Goods Shed, and the newer lower section. The Club has ensured that there is grass area around all pitches and as the shrubbery grows it has become more intimate.

This is generally a peaceful site but there is some road noise that mainly impacts on the first 10 or so pitches on the left down from reception. Electric points are convenient to all pitches and are rated at 16 amps and use CEE17 blue connectors.

The electric bollards also have a co-ax TV connector, these are free to use but you must have your own cable or buy one from reception.

There are two water and waste water service points on the lower section and another on the upper section which also have a chemical emptying point. Some pitches at the far end of the site are a fair distance from a water point.

A most welcome addition to this site is the installation of an open grill waste water point for motorhomes. There is a toilet block on each section.

On the lower section the block is of modern design and everything you would expect from the Caravan Club. On the other hand, the toilet block on the upper section is something rather special.

It is housed in what was the old railway sheds in the Broadway goods yard. Also included in this building is a special storage point for The Wanderer, the world's first purpose-built leisure touring caravan. (During our latest visit in August 2021 this toilet block and Goods Shed was closed)

Next to reception is a good-sized information room. Some mobile food takeaways visit the site on certain days, information from reception.

There is site wide Wi-Fi and access can be purchased online. When trying to connect to the site WiFi to use the Club’s website I found it a bit intermittent.

4G connection was better on O2 but EE was difficult especially on the pitches on the lower section of the site. There is a nice centrally situated children’s playground which is also screened from the pitching area.

This site is about a mile walk from the delightful Cotswold village of Broadway. There are several restaurants and tea/coffee shops in the village as well as shops and galleries. There is a Co-Op supermarket in the centre of the village which will cater for most needs.

Evesham is about 10 miles away and has both a Tesco and Morrisons supermarket. For fuel there is a handy garage opposite the site which has a good pull in space for both cars and caravans and larger motorhomes. This garage also sells newspapers and various food staples.

There are various other attractions around and about including Broadway Tower and several National Trust Properties. Details of these and other attractions can be found in the site information bureau.

There are some bus services from the village but best to check times and frequencies with Reception. Work on the restoration of the old Broadway Station, opposite the site entrance, is now complete and regular train services are running between Broadway and Cheltenham.

The Station has a shop and café for those that just want to look.

It was a lovely, clean and very well cared for site. On arrival the Wardens were really friendly and very helpful.

The garage opposite the site has a small shop with a range of goods and the Train station cafe is lovely and only a few hundred meters from the site.
