Brought this tent in the Argos sale for 24.Needed a small pack, light weight tent for a cycle camping tour of Normandy France due to take place around June/July 2010.Well for 24 who could miss taking a chance?

Pitched in about 10 mins first time out the bag.Looks good and the build quality is high.Ample room inside for one person and kit, can't wait to use it in 'anger'

Seems to me like a damn fine bargain, I'm impressed, but then again I have a couple of Pro-Action sleeping bags and they are good gear too.

Purchased this tent from Argos for a motorcycle tour of Scottish highlands. It is very light, quick and easy to erect and it stood up to all the Scottish weather could throw at it, wind and rain (buckets of the stuff) Stayed firmly attached to the ground, never leaked, dried off very quickly. Plenty of room for me and kit, yes it's orange but don't be put off by that. Fantastic price and great for people on very tight budget.

What a fantastic tent. Having always camped in large family tents, I was surprised how this tent still had plenty of room to move. I admit, I'm only 5'2' but a six footer would still manage. I'm was travelling on a cycle, so weight and size was important and this tent was both small and light. So easy to erect I never even bothered with the instructions. Had no problem with condensation and the tent held up and stayed dry even when we had a massive downpour of great English rain. I have to admit only one tiny fault, if I was a motorcyclist, there is little space in the awning to keep boots/helmet/leathers. Really a very good buy and I only paid 24.44 for mine. Be alive, be calm, be happy.

Used mine on the Great Outdoors Challenge, west to east, across Scotland. Used it for 11 nights in all weathers, wind and hail included. Less condensation than the Akto brigade which really gave them the hump! TIP Put an eyelet in the bottom of the door, prop it open with a treking pole/stick/bike and you have a reasonable porch to cook in. Mine was a green one but now own an orange one (ok if you camp very remotely)

For the price I paid for it (15!), this is a cracking little tent! I've had mine for about 5 years, and its never let me down once.

I have the original version with the green flysheet, which I think is nicer than the new version, but even so I'm not fussed as its the design I like.

I only planned to use it for a season as I didn't think it would last, but 5 years on its still going strong!

I suppose the only gripe is the fact that it's inner-first pitching, but then again when it's up it's very robust against the elements. This was proven when I camped near the top of Wetherlam in the Lakes last year in what felt like a hurricane. I lay there waiting for something to give, but it stood its ground!

I could go on forever about it, but thats how good it is! 10/10 for the price!

I used the tent throughout a week long hike around the Anglesey Coastal Path. On the 6th night it rained heavily and the wind was strong all night but the tent stood up to things very well. The porch was large enough for my boots and large rucksack and the inner area is large enough for a sleeping area and a small storage space on one side.

I'd recommend people buy this tent but unfortunately it seems that Argos have stopped selling them now, which is a great shame.

I have acquired this tent recently and have found it very good. It Is ideal for one man either backpacking or cycling with its low weight and small when its packed . Very easy to erect . Its not the colour I would pick ( bright Orange ) The downside is the inner tent (bedroom ). I cant understand why so much ventilation. The mesh you can see through and there are no privacy flaps to pull down or zip up to keep out the cold /chill and draughts, hence a problem arises when its very windy. You can feel all the draughts.

All In a all this Is a great little tent. I have tested it out in heavy downpours of rain and strong gusty winds and it has done very well. I have since fixed more eyelets and elastics on the base to give It more pegging options.

I managed to get 2 of these tents for my sons aged 11 and 12, 1 orange and 1 green. They can pitch them in around 7 minutes each and they are light enough for them to carry if we go wild camping. I left one up for 3 weeks last spring and although it killed the grass the tent stayed dry and only needed adjusting a couple of times. They are getting hard to find now but if you do I would strongly recommend one. Even my purist (terra nova only) best mate had a hard time picking faults with it.

I purchased a yellow one 3 years ago, then managed to find an unused green one,Used for 3days then added extra loops to bottom edges and extended the bottom of door edge to provide cooking area,(using walking pole.).If wild camping with a bright tent, buy some lightweight cammo netting, its cheap enough and bought by the mtr, 3-4 will cover small tent, cannot be beaten for price/performance. At 2kgs great fer solo backing.

Great wee tent for solo trips. Porch is large enough for a medium sized rucksack, as already said prop the front with a walking pole for a bit more space for things like cooking.

Really easy and quick to pitch.

Is usually on special offer several times of the year. I got mine for 15 so well worth the money.

Looking forward to using it again this year
