We bought this tent back in June after much research into manufacturers and designs. I too have Sprayway walking gear and I am very happy with it, which is why I was not too concerned at not physically viewing the tent before buying it.
We took it to Spain for two weeks and had no problems (we had no rain or winds either!). However, when we were packing up to return home I noticed that the seam connecting the groundsheet to the inner tent had come unstitched in one of the main doorways. When we got home I spoke to the suppliers who were brilliant and replaced the tent the very next day.
We have just got back from a long weekend in Swanage and I am going to be phoning the suppliers again in the morning. Before we had even finished putting the tent up one of the guy points ripped along the seam on the canopy. We tied the guy to the steel pole to avoid any further ripping and everything seemed OK. Next day someone tripped over the same guy and the fixing at the top of the pole ripped off! We tied the other end of the guy to the top of the steel pole and hoped that the plastic clips fixing the canopy to the pole would hold. The next night we had some typical English weather and I had to get up 4 times in the night because the tension straps at the front of the tent kept loosening and pulled the pegs out of the ground. We eventually resorted to nail pegs at about 5.00am.
I have to say I'm gutted because I really like the clever design features of this tent, but the poor build quality has let it down. I have to agree with other reviews that the inner is too thin and see-through.
All in all I don't think I'll have another. I don't suppose the polycotton version is going to be any better stitched or have stronger guy line points, and the pack isn't only a darn site heavier, it's also bigger. It's actually put me off tents altogether and we're now considering a trailer tent. That's a whole new minefield to negotiate though!

After reading the review against this tent I felt I had to leave my own. Me and my husband camp in ours almost every weekend. We have three children and because you get the extra bedroom free we often have guests for the weekend too. This means there are 4 spacious bedroom a huge storage area behind the three main bedrooms (our inner fits the tent) a very handy 12 pocket storage area at the front of the tent, a dog bed (we use for dirty boots). You can access the tent through three doors (very handy when it is raining) and the canopy at the front really is spacious enough to sit under in bad weather or for shade. We used to have a Gelert tent that was great but became too small when the family grew. This tent is excellent value for money and we didn't spend the extra to get this in polycotton. We use ours in all weathers and it is roomy comfortable and warm. We paid £399 for ours new and our kids aged 12 9 and 2 all love it!

Before I mention the problems I have had with this tent, I feel I must first mention I am a passionate walker/climber who wouldn't hesitate to buy sprayway outdoor clothing. However, it was very disappointing to find their quality of clothing has not rubbed off on their tents, which is a shame.
I cannot deny the space, set up and comfort that you receive from this tent is second to none, together with the various storage areas, but the quality of the materials used to make it let it down.
The main problems I found with tent were, leaking seams, the inner tent was made of poor quality fabric which was see through, not a good thing for bedrooms! The fabric at the entrance of the tent frayed and pulled around the zips and after a week the fabric was almost completely pulled away. 1 guide rope tag pulled out, 2 snapped and the other unstrengthened guide ropes showed signs that they too would pull away. The wardrobe pole supports fell out, the toggle holes which hold the inner tent up pulled out in the area of one of the bedrooms.
I also found the inner tent 'seemed' to be too small to fit the outer, resulting in a pulling on the hook eyelets across the front and back of the tent. There is one strange design fault, you cannot close the vents to the back of the tent which makes for a very draughty night if it is windy!
It may just have been a one off faulty tent and I must say that when these faults were highlighted to the store I bought it from they refunded all my money without any issues.
You can't fault the look and size of the tent, however the quality of the product and the finish given, in my opinion does not match up to the name of Sprayway.
