2 Reviews of the Cobra 2-->

Mine is the green Coleman Cobra Deluxe 2, I bought it off ebay for about £40, the seller had bought it in Australia some years before but barely used it.
I am 196cm tall and wanted a lightweight tent that was long enough to lie in without touching then ends, and it does that well, and I can just about sit up in it.
I have used it in a warm August and a mild September by myself, and found that condensation was more noticeable than when I use larger tents by myself, but that might be typical for small tents. Mine has openings on both sides, which is good for letting a breeze blow through. It has enough space for my panniers and all stuff when I used it for C2C cycle route. It has useful built in pockets and loops around the head end.
I haven't used it in anything other than light winds yet, but it has had moderate rain, and didn't leak.

Bought from Amazon in a black Friday sale for about £80, owned for just over a yer for wild camping cycling trips. It's one the bulky side for lightweight cycling, and is heavy at 2.6kg but it's huge for one person. There is enough room for gear inside the inner, and there is a pretty large vestibule both sides, though one side entry means you have to access one of them via the inner zipper opening. Ventilation is OK, camped in 24 hours of non stop rain, and remained dry inside.
Really easy to pitch in the wet, I always leave the inner attached so it pops up in one. It's not the lightest, most hi-tec of tents, but it's well made and strong. I've since bought a Vango Cairngorm 100 to use instead for these wild trips, as it's smaller and lighter and will pack into my panniers.
Overall, a great little tent but a bit big and heavy for backpacking or cycling. Perfect otherwise for a night or two when you just need something small and compact and quick to erect.

A lightweight tent that offers superb value for a budding adventurist; the wedged tunnel design is wind responsive and strong. A quick and easy to erect design, you will be pitched in minutes and the use of aluminium poles ensures that this tent performs in inclement conditions but retains its lightweight credentials.
- Simple and quick to pitch; with fly first pitching you will be protected from the elements in no time
- Lightweight with a compact pack size, it will fit neatly in a backpack and won''t weigh you down.
- Wedged tunnel construction
