3 Reviews of the Paragon 600

Loved this tent- a good size for a family of four, the high ceiling and relatively vertical walls meant that most of it is very usable.

Extremely waterproof (we used it with the footprint) we had no leaks with some heavy downpours and the sewn in groundsheet meant mud was kept outside! The ventilation was great, too- very comfortable to sleep in- but having used it without the bedrooms installed (we forgot them once) I wouldn't do so again as that made it noticeably colder.

Only real downside is that, being so big, it really needs two people, preferably adults, to pitch or strike- and it does take a good while to get up and down.

I agree with the below review. I love the tent, there's so much room and it's really light inside. The sleeping pods are versatile with the clip-in dividers. The canopy is useful for shade and shelter. It takes about 50 minutes to put up - the inners can be left in permanently to save time. Goes back into the bag really easily. Is still available on Amazon at the time of writing.

I love this tent! Had a Royal Memphis 5 before and this is a perfect upgrade.

It has windows all around the 'lounge area' and because of the squareness of the roof you have full head height everywhere. Very useful as you can have a definite eating area and sofa/bean bag area. Despite this extra space it doesn't look too massive compared to others in the field.

Behind the sleeping inner tent there are three large air vents (rather than the usual one) so it keeps cool on muggy nights. The inner tent can be separated off with curtains for privacy (from the kids). We used one of the areas for storage but would also be ideal for one of those toilets.

Also VERY watertight. Had a massive downpour and we had no problems. The ground sheet is sewn in which helps (also reduces general dampness in the tent. And spiders!

The canopy is also sewn in (i.E. No extra charge for that!) and if you don't want a canopy just take the pole out and roll it up. The canopy is great though.Like a porch. Also well designed (no guide ropes in the way preventing you from being able to sit there).

Takes two to put up and carry case is heavier than my last tent. Clever colour coding of the toggles etc helps to make this a straight forward process.
