1 Reviews of the Vario 4 Cotton
By: Tombell1 Reason: I own(ed) one Made in: 2007 Rating:
We bought this tent for a four month trip through Europe. I was keen on Polycotton as we were liable to endure severe . Heat. We indeed did although not before we had coped with heavy rain and winds for the first 2 weeks through france!
Well a lovely middle sized , well made tunnel tent. Lovely high sleeping area where at 5'10' I could happily stand up right. Well made. Good quality.
Only two downsides. It was a little slow to erect. Getting the poles through the cotton material was a little difficult. But this did get better over time.
Some of these tunnel tents have stiffeners going horizontally along thiem. This one does not. It would have been nice , but not necessary. Good value for money. We still use it . A good ' medium ' sized tent. The sitting area is light and airy. Cleverly the cotton is darker in the sleeping area and lighter in the living area , on my version.
I would recommend this for a family of 4 or two couples , especially on the continent.

Manufacturer's Description
Ideal tunnel shaped tent for small families or groups. A good start of the range of family tents.
IDEAL WEEKEND or SHORTSTAY TENT!! Polyester Version Illustrated
Generous living area (310 x 220cm, and a height of 210cm). There is a large 4 berth bedroom which can convert into two separate inner compartments, both with double mosquito net doors, so that the inside can be kept ventilated, while ensuring insects cannot get in.
The flysheet goes up first, as the poles go into the outside sleeves of the outer. There is a loose groundsheet for the living area and the tent has front and side entrance doors.
Easy to erect - difficult to find so much for so little.
