Powrtouch - The Remote Control Caravan Mover

If you struggle reversing your caravan onto a pitch at a campsite, you physically are not able to push your caravan anymore or are you simply fed up with having to manoeuvre your caravan by hand and fancy the easy life for a change, this could be just the answer.

About the Powrtouch Caravan Mover

The Powrtouch is a simple, yet highly effective method to move your caravan without the worries and strains of trying to push the caravan into position. It all operates from your onboard 12 volt system so there is no need for trailing wires and the like.

The Powrtouch uses two 12 volt motors that can be driven independently to provide maximum manoeuvrability .The motors are mounted on a strong lightweight metal framework that clamps to the caravan chassis. The standard fitting of the Powrtouch does not require any welding or drilling to the chassis making fitting simple and quick.

The caravan tyres are driven by friction rollers which are engaged by a locking cam that requires just a small turn of a wrench which is provided. The caravan movement is controlled remotely by a small handset by simply pressing one of the clearly marked buttons. Powrtouch incorporates a soft start function to eliminate the caravan jumping into action. The caravan can be moved in any direction and the single axle can turn on its own axis if required. Braking is completely automatic and occurs immediately as the operators finger is removed from the selected button.

Powr Products are also able to supply a Powrbar option, which enables engagement of the rollers on both sides of the caravan from one side, which means if you are tight for space and store your caravan hard up against a wall for instance, then this is ideal for you.

Powrtouch can be transferred from caravan to caravan if you change your unit. Corrosive resistant materials are used to aid refitting and durability, whilst epoxy enamel paint is used for longer life.

The Powrtouch models operate on wet or uneven terrain, the caravan owner, having disconnected the towing vehicle, engages the Powrtouch rollers which can then remotely manoeuvre the caravan in and out of drives, up and down gradients up to one in four and in and out of tight spaces.

Reversing a caravan, or any trailer, is not an easy exercise, Powrtouch does away with all these difficulties and carries a five year no quibble guarantee.
