I have just put together an instruction manual using original pictures and detail on erecting the folding caravans and maintenance ie brake adjustment.

If anyone is interested please send me your email address and I will send the file to you.

It is all in Microsoft word so most people should be able to print it out on their home computers.

I printed mine using double sided printing and it was 25 pages long.

This sounds an excellent thing to have.  I would love to have a copy,  We have an exportmatic now, having recently upgraded from a conformatic which we sold to my parents.

Hi John. Brilliant. We have struggled like mad last year and it took about 2 hours to put up our exportmatic. Have a very difficult to read copy of copy which was great but couldn't make out some of the illustrations. If you could email it to me I would be very grateful as we are hoping to have another go for bank hols.

Our caravan is in fairly good shape considering the age but the awning is deteriorating and would either need a lot of work or replacing. Do you (or anyone else) know of an awning that will fit a rapido without leaking? If so are many alterations necessary to fit it over the roof etc?

I have just bought a compactlite awning from this site with a spare set of poles

I have adapted it for the rapido by adding an extra section of awning rail fitment to it.

something else i have just tried is a low wattage electric pressure cooker from scotts of stow £99

it works really well and can cook a whole chicken

The manual was brilliant, thanks. Very clear and included useful exportmatic advice. We've just got back from half term week at Peterborough. Really enjoyed Rapido, just few problems like clip for joining kitchen units together missing so had to prop up. Cold water on/off switch leaking. Very pleased with awning. Went up like a dream.My 4 year old couldn't stop opening and shutting the curtains till 10 o'clock every night.I think she thought it was a wendy house!! Bottom bunk was a bit cramped for larger teenager, so might put her in awning next time. Looking forward to summer hols.

I would love you to send me your manual it sounds just what I need, or should I say what my son needs, we have decided to let him take the van away with him and like any kid he never took no notice when we were putting it up.  It sounds like you have put a lot of work into doing it.

Hi John,

Wow what can I say I am lost for words, it was absolutely perfect from begining to end.  How on earth can my son fail now to put it up.  It also arrived the day you said.  I don't know how to thank you enough John, if there's anything I can do to return the favour just let me know.
