Hi all,

 Im organising a meet for new year Friday 31/12/10 to Monday 03/01/11  

 NEW VENUE....  Sheldon House Farm, Grindon Moor, Leek

 Rang today told them of intended dates 31 dec to 3rd jan

 Campsite has 20 hook ups available 10 of which are hard standing pitches & 10 grass pitches,

      Prices Per Night  including hook up...

•  £13 for 2 Adults
•  £15 for 2 Adults & 2 Children
• Small charge for showers is 20p
• Fire Baskets Allowed
• Dogs Allowed on lead

WHY DOES SHE TELL ME EVERYTHING IS MY FAULT?

Hi Lyn & Ray,

 When i spoke to derek he never said anything about it closing...

 Just rang derek & he said the campsite will definately be open for new year...

 Derek also said there is electric hook ups in the car park if the weather is bad

If the weather is bad!!!......it's January for goodness sake......can it get much worse - or does he know something we don't

 Rang derek today no problems with kids as long as they behave lol

 Sorry to jump in & ask about kids before your weekend trip but as this is the first meet ive tried to run im trying to get things right lol

 ? dont know about weather derek never said if he had ordered sun lol

Fancy going on this meet but have to convince other half, its her birthday new years eve so may have a look at site in the week as a day excursion

Hi eddy

 I'd love to go but not sure about him indoors ..... we did go camping in May & it was  -3 !!!!! bloody cold but a whisky & a cuddly helped 

We would deffinitely want EHU, so as long as it's not 2ft deep in snow then I'll persuade AH so count us in please.

I've never been on a meet before .... I'm excited all ready
