Now before you all get excited it's not Luechars which was fantastic last year.
Due to the runway being resurfaced there will be no airshow there this year....but.
This one is going to be held at East Fortune on 28th July 2007(Details Here).
I have registered for the updates as there are no details for the tickets at the moment so I will post further details when more information is received.
In the meantime if anyone knows of any campsites around that area please post so that enquiries can be made.
We were at the East Fortune show two years ago and camped on the airfield. That was with the Classic Campers Club. I suggest you contact the airfield and ask about camping during the airshow.
By the by, there is a good Car Boot Sale one field away on the Sunday. Ideal for otherwise bored wifes.
Keep me posted on that one too Sparky. It is a good show. When we were there they had a Spitfire fying over. I had never heard a real one before but by gum it was an unmistakeable sound when it did appear.
The OH has me earmarked for work in the house during July so a weekend at East Fortune would be mana from heaven!!!! <G>.
We're in Sparky. Had a great time last year at Leuchars, thanks - our son will be joining ATC in August so this is a must do.
We camped at North Berwick last year for a few days. They are not overkeen on large tents there and I imagine, because there is a beach it may be well booked by now. Great place though .. just a few minutes walk to the beach - we walked from there along the sand into North Berwick a couple of times.. ( ok got bus back ).

Its still a sound that instills pride when ever it roars over head. Not many left nowadays but they keep them going the same way they always have, a wing and a prayer and they will make it there!!!
